"I dont like the way animals are treated at all"
Thanks for caring!
What
is the worst thing we can do to our fellow dog, cat or human. Is this
not to take his/her life? If cows and sheep have a moral value, then
they also have the right to not have their calves stolen from them, the
male calves have a right to their lives (i.e. it is unethical to kill
them), the "milk-cows" have the right not to get killed when they are 5
years old and more.
Me and my wife became vegans this autumn.
Tens-of-thousands of people have made the same transition. If we really
care about animals it must be an easy choice not to hire someone to kill
them - which we do if we partake of milk, eggs or other animal
products. Taste-buds are easy to reprogram. There are cruelty-free
options, except for all vegetables, fruits, legumes and nuts, like this:
http://vegusto.co.uk/ We should choose this if our fellow sentient
beings are more important then "convenience", tradition, taste or
enjoyment.
Becoming a vegan is both fantastic for all other
animals, and it is also a fantastic transformation that takes place in
oneself - both spiritually and emotionally (see www.worldpeacediet.org)
and physically - see http://www.adelicatebalance.com.au/
"I only
hope that with this new 'scare' all this junk food goes out of
supermarkets and people stop buying meat in such places, if there was no
demand for cheap meat "
The suffering and death that we see are
caused to animals take place because people treat them as
objects/property, and this will continue as long as they are exploited
and killed for food, clothing, medicines, hygiene products, cleaning
products, food for cats and dogs, and more.
Please consider going vegan for the sake of the animals!
Have a nice evening! :)
